In the early 1950’s, my Grandpa Billy Bob Stinson married my Grandma, Patricia Ann. The farm boy and a small town girl from north of Plano moved to the town Arlington. Grandpa worked a few textile jobs, but found his passion in framing houses with his brothers. He went on to start his own remodeling company. My Grandma and Grandpa had three boys. Grandma took all three boys to church every time the doors were open. They worked hard to instill those values into everything they did. Grandpa built a reputation in the Tarrant County area for doing honest, reliable work for reasonable prices. As time went on, he passed his skills, talents and values on to their sons, Billy Bob Jr., Eddie Ray and Thomas (Tommy) Wayne. All three boys went on to form Stinson Brothers Construction and still serve Tarrant County today. They have carried on the family values and skills of the trade their Dad instilled in them for over 55 years. I am Larry Stinson. My Dad is Billy Bob Stinson Jr. I grew up on a construction site. I remember well, going to work with my Dad from a very young age. He has been an excellent role model – showing me how to do every step of construction from slab to shingles and everything in between. He taught me to glorify God in everything I do. He and my Mom, Cynthia Ann, raised us; my younger sister and I with the same values my Grandparents passed down. In my early 20’s, my Dad became an Elder at New York Avenue Church of Christ. At that time he changed vocations to Project Manager for Million Dollar Churches. In 2005, I was blessed with the opportunity to go to Nashville, Tn. to assist my Dad in building Tusculum Church of Christ. This proved to be an excellent learning experience in the building trade, as well as in life. They have gone on to retire from construction to serve on the mission field in Africa. While in Nashville, I met my dream girl and moved back to Texas in January of 2006. I went back into the plumbing trade working for KMP. My wife and I married in September of 2006. She brought two wonderful children into my life, one girl – 5 and one boy – 1. Since then we have had two more children, one boy and one girl. Carissa has brought joy and love into my life. We raise our children with the same values that our Grandparents and Parents raised us. We teach them the ways of life the way the Lord wanted us to. When you call Larry Stinson Plumbing you will be greeted by my lovely wife. Our goal is to provide you with the best service your money can buy. It is our hope you see the Lord in everything we do. I started this company so we could serve our community and teach our children the value of hard work and learning how to serve. As the years go by you will see our children working by our sides, just as we did and our parents before us – learning the skills, trades and values passed down from generation to generation.
